Lebanon/Israel
Ceasefire Vigil
in San Francisco
Monday
7 August 2006
6pm - 7pm

Join us Monday,
as we stand together with people across the globe;
united by our shared message:
For all our sakes,
ceasefire.

Justin Herman Plaza, near the fountain
(located directly across from the Ferry Bulding).

Can be reached by BART or MUNI
by getting off at Embarcadero staion.
Parking is available at Embarcadero Center.

All of us have watched recent developments in Lebanon
and Israel with horror. Blatant and gross violations
of international humanitarian law are being committed
by Israeli forces and Hizbullah,
including the indiscriminate and disproportionate use of force
and direct targeting of civilians....

Join Amnesty International activists to put pressure
on both sides
to agree to a ceasefire,
demand that all governments stop the supply of arms to the conflict,
highlight the human rights violations occurring, and
stand in solidarity with the victims
on both sides
of the struggle.

If you have any questions
feel free to call the
Amnesty International
Western Regional Office at
(415) 291-9233.
