Todd is the main ISO organizer in the Bay area, and is now using the pro-capitalist Green party as a cover to make a run for Senate. Behind Todd in the picture above, you can see David Russitano, who is a major ISO organizer at San Francisco State University. In 2005, he posted an International Socialist Review articleto the Students Against War SF State site which misrepresented Naomi Klein as "demonizing" parts of the resistance, and put out this statement on the need to unconditionally support the Iraqi resistance as a response:
David Russitano:
"The point of the article I sent was that even those that support full
withdrawal still demonize aspects of the resistance. And further that
anti-war activists are attacking those that have a position of
UNCONDITIONAL support for the resistance because some see those ideas
as TOO RADICAL [sic].
While Klein admits that resistance is broader than those that engage
in bombings she demonizes a section of it. She is not for
UNCONDITIONAL SUPPORT she is for conditional support."
...there are aspects of resistance she supports and others she
doesn't. I think this is a mistaken way to look at the situation."
(Emphasis via capitalizing, and [sic] is mine)
But this position has always been wrong, for socialists, for anarchists, for all working class people and others. just look at recent headlines which reflect some of the same problems an "UNCONDITIONAL support" of the resistance have always posed:
Gays flee Iraq as Shia death squads find a new target
Evidence shows increase in number of executions as homosexuals plead for asylum in Britain

The Observer
Hardline Islamic insurgent groups in Iraq are targeting a new type of victim with the full protection of Iraqi law, The Observer can reveal. The country is seeing a sudden escalation of brutal attacks on what are being called the 'immorals' - homosexual men and children as young as 11 who have been forced into same-sex prostitution.

When people get excited about voting for Todd becuase he looks good compared to the pro-war Democrats, just consider that the ISO has taken many such lame positions, which amount to cheap "anti-imperialism" as in "the enemy of my enemy is my friend".
