A thousand hotel workers and their supporters rallied in Union Square and then marched past some of the hotels that they have called a boycott of in downtown San Francisco
Hotel workers in San Francisco, who have been working without a contract since 2004 held a spirited march calling for a boycott of 13 of the most luxurious hotels in the city. Represented by Unite Here local 2 the struggle is around healthcare, workload protection, cost of living increases, a decent pension and dignity on the job.
