Notes from Lebanon and Palestine (reposted)

These are the times that try human souls. Silence is complicity; no one can
claim they did not know. Those who move with the flow (assimilate) or lose
hope become occupied themselves (and what would one gain if they gain even
the whole world and lose themselves). Those who resist/act for truth and
justice, are free human beings despite the horrific events, the adversity,
and the nefarious and mendacious lies and distortions used to hide the
atrocities.

While the world is focused on the systematic destruction of Lebanon, the war
crimes against Lebanese civilians (and crimes against humanity), Israeli
occupation forces took the opportunity to intensify their war crimes in
occupied Palestine. An example of the kind of atrocity is the large scale
destruction in Nablus which went unnoticed by the Western media. Journalist
and friend Gale Courey is an eyewitness to the massive destruction in
Palestine. Her reports are eye opening.
