Girlstock is an annual fundraising arts event that fosters community and benefits populations in need while showcasing and celebrating female and transgendered artists.

At this year’s festival, music, food, and art enthusiasts are invited to feast on two days of female and transgendered creative expression while helping raise funds for the Postive Resource Center and Pets Are Wonderful Support, two nonprofit San Francisco agencies dedicated to improving the quality of life for those at risk for or living with HIV/AIDS and other disabling illnesses. As always, gentlemen are welcome and encouraged to attend the event.

And here are the details:

DAY TWO: Saturday, 9/23 at the Elbo Room, 647 Valencia Street, SF, CA - Some of SF's hottest girl djs, girl and trans bands hit the stage from 6pm-2am.
