Send Andronico's a Free Fax: No Cruelty to Animals!

by Stephen
Andronico's Market, a grocery chain in the San Francisco Bay Area, says it is "committed to the highest standards of animal husbandry" but is selling eggs from chickens confined in battery cages. Go to <http://www.local-impact.org/> and send a free fax to Andronico's telling them to adopt a cage-free egg policy.
Andronico's Market says that it is "committed to the highest standards of animal husbandry." Yet East Bay Animal Advocates recently documented shocking conditions at Andronico's brandname egg supplier - NuCal Foods, Inc, showing intensive confinement of chickens in wire cages. You can see the disturbing video at their web site.

Several local retailers, including Whole Foods Market and Wild Oats Natural Marketplace, have already adopted policies to carry only cage-free eggs.

Please go to Local Impact abd TAKE ACTION today and demand that Andronico's adopt a cage-free egg policy.
