Israeli Fire Hits UN Lebanon Garrison

Milos Strugar, spokesman of the UN Interim Force Command in Naqoura, bordering Israel, said artillery hit the general barracks and two more mortars hit another UN outpost in Marun al-Ras.

On July 13 Israel launched an offensive on Lebanon under the pretext of releasing two soldiers captured by Hizbollah (Party of God) by attacking southern and central Lebanon.

Thus far the toll has been 300 dead, 850 wounded and half a million displaced persons.
