Great pics! it takes courage for Jews to stand up and speak truth to power
In Chicago, we would have been strengthened by having some songs, possibly chants, maybe even dancing-- in addition to repeated calls for "Free Lebanon"& "Free Palestine", etc.-- as led by a group of Palestinians who were likewise present at a counter-demo to a Pro-Israel rally, on 7/17. Unfortunately for us, the Pro-Israel rally had some of these features.
Also, when a Pro-Israel person came over to talk with our counter-demo, he was treated with repeated shouts & insults.
