As our leadership training camp gets closer, Art in Action has some volunteer/small stipended positions available! We are forever grateful to our supporters and have been extremely blessed in the past to recieve such love. Please consider helping to make this life-changing, community-building, social justice art-based youth leadership training possible!

Volunteer roles that need to be filled- hrs are approximate and if you use your car, gas can be reimbursed.

Before Camp: Now through July 24
*Food Donation solicitation
*Packing puppets and supplies on July 24th ( 2 hrs)

*First Day of Camp: July 25
*Pick up Food Donations/Drop off at camp (car needed)
*Drive supplies to camp
*Drive youth to Camp ( Rental Van provided/stipend available-3 hrs)

During Camp: July 26-August 2
*Pick up donations from Santa Cruz Farmers markets/Bring to Camp (Car needed)
*Cook Assistant under Chef Bryant Terry at Camp (get to experience Art in Action by volunteering! check out his website: http://www.eatgrub.org)

Last Day of Camp: August 3
*Drive youth Back to the Bay (rental Van provided/ Stipend Available- 3hrs)
*Unload puppets (possibly done August 4 in the Bay Area)

Art in Action offers free to low cost arts training/organizing and
leadership skills to young people, and create safe space to learn
about non-violence, healthy life skills and community building through sharing stories and collective arts activism. Volunteer help is crucial in keping the camp affordable.
