July 4th parade in Bolinas, Ca

Hundreds of people lined the main street of the Coastal community of Bolinas to watch the annual fourth of July parade. One of the lead groups was "Mega Fauna", the winner of "Most Terra-fying" entry. (below)

The Afro/Brazilian dance team is headed by dance instructor Anna Gottreich,center left, leads her dance troup down the parade route. The white gowns symbolize the Brazilian diety Orisa. Gottreich teaches dance at the Bolinas Connunity center.
