Israel's right of defense (by Latuff)

I think Latuff is one of the best cartoonist/social/political critics that's ever been. He has the guts to create cartoons about taboo subjects, controversial political issues and speak truth to power in his cartoons. He rocks.

What has he risked?
How many death threats has he faced?
When was his livelihood as a cartoonist in jeopardy and by whom?
If not, what makes you think he has guts to sketch those caricatures?

As evidenced by the fact that people hat him soooo much for telling it like it is in his art. It is courageous, as many would probably like to kill him i.e. Zionist nutcases, right wing loonies, ect.

Mere hatred, even the most intense and concentrated, doesn't put a person's life or even livelihood at risk. You're only speculating that many want to murder him. Proof to that effect would go a long way toward establishing that his life has been in danger. This Latoof may take perverse delight in showing Israel his middle finger regularly. People that relish doing this sort of thing abound in all walks of life and every profession. I don't see any particular reason beyond the ordinary to worship this man.
