As he usually does.
Finkelstein can only smear. What else can he do.
All I know is that he's humiliated others in every debate I've heard.
I know that Finkelstein is an icon here, but he's a second rate academic at best and can only get public attention by slandering Dershowitz. He's not a debate winner except in someone's imagination.
Dumbowitz was annhilated by Chomsky.
He was flubbering and stuttering and turning red and had no arguments.
It was sad.

Did anyone see Finkelstein when he was in Berkeley? He did fine reading his prepared notes, but fell apart when asked hard questions. Second rate academic is right.
I've definitely seen better speakers than Finklestein, but haven't seen many worse than the Dersmeister...
Dershowitz was scheduled to speak in Berkeley last year, but got sick and ended up doing a live-feed instead. Even so, he was brilliant- his grasp of law, history and world politics was impressive- this is a man who became a full professor at Harvard when he was 26. We should try and get him back here.
All parties capable of making judgement agreed that Dumbowitz was made to look like an utter buffoon...he got angry, couldn't make a coherent argement while Chomsky bombarded him with facts, stats and sources to support his points. Dershy just looked like a small, angry child. LOL!
