"Greater TranInStan" rallied in sunshine

by Tortuga (SaveFreedom [at] yahoogroups.com)
Large cheerful crowd in Dolores Park enjoyed cultural performances at afternoon rally (before evening march).
SF, 23 June:

"Greater TranInStan" [TRAN-in-stan]
( Transgender/Intersex (T/I folks and their numerous allies)

celebrated our 3rd annual SF Trans March on Friday.
....

[ Note by Tortuga:
"I arrived at Dolores Park around 3pm, just before the trans rally started.

At least half of the audience, sitting on a grassy slope, appeared to be XX persons ( bio-women and/or trans-men).
T/I persons were outnumbered by their friends, lovers, and allies.

The large crowd enjoyed performances thru the afternoon,
at least until 8pm. The sky just above Doe-Park remained clear until 8pm, even as fog could be seen to our north, and to our south.

As afternoon faded into evening, the stage turned more political, with appearances by Leslie Feinberg, Mark Leno, Kamala Harris, and others. (Some hyper-leftists objected to Harris.)

Marching was supposed to start at 7pm, but the rally was still continuing around 7:50pm, when I left."
