This is a full day interactive workshop for youth and adults from diverse communities who want to make changes in their neighborhoods. It is an opportunity to meet and learn from others who are organizing to bring healthy foods into their communities and build connections with local farms. From starting farmers’ markets to growing food, come learn how to turn your ideas into action. This workshop will also include discussion on how social and environmental injustice affects healthy food access. Come join in this opportunity to build relationships and get connected to the larger food justice movement in California.
