The Civic Center Hotel Tenants Go to the Board of Supervisors to Save Their Home
Wednesday, June 21 @ 1pm at the Land Use Committee, room #263, Civic Center Hotel tenants, housing allies and concerned members of the community will show their support for the resolution to Save the Civic Center Hotel, preserve it as affordable housing and, bring the building up to code. The resolution calls for the U.A. Local 38 Pension Trust Fund to abandon its plans to demolish the hotel and do the necessary maintenance to bring the building into compliance with San Francisco Building and Housing Codes, thus preserving the residential hotel as essential housing option for low income San Franciscans.

This shows their lack of concern with tenants’ lives and earthquake safety.
