Uncle Donald web site marks 10th year with Jerry Pritikin's images of "When Then was Now" exhibit at http://www.thecastro.net.
Recently Don Eckert was honored along with several other photojournalist
including Jerry Pritikin at the photographic Tribute to Harvey Milk at the Milk Plaza in San Francisco. To mark the 10th year of Don Eckert's Uncle Donald web-site www.thecastro.net , Eckert invited Jerry Pritikin to exhibit a collection of his images called "WHEN THEN WAS NOW". The exhibit includes images of Harvey Milk and early gay politics and gay sports and evolution of the Castro. Pritikin's photographs have appeared in books(The Mayor of Castro Street, Ripples of Hope) Documentaries ( Rainbow Pride, The Castro) and Exhibits. Pritikin who is 69 years old now resides in Chicago and still active in Gay and Human rights.
