Cynthia Sterling is the Fresno City Council District 3 representative for the Tower District. She is running for re-election. Also at the parade were two Fresno City Council District 1 candidates - Chuck Riojas and Scott Miller.

There were a number of churches who had delegations at the parade. In addition to the Unitarians, there were delegations from the Oakhurst United Methodist Church, College Community Congregational Church, and Wesley United Methodist.
