JFAV Demands Justice: Investigate and Punish All Responsible for the Veterans Scam
The Justice for Filipino American Veterans (JFAV) is seriously monitoring the developments on the recently exposed theft of 26.5 million American veterans’ records last May 3 but which was not immediately reported by the Veterans Administration (VA) will have a long-lasting impact on millions of veterans. The US Congress has not yet passed the pension plan SB 146 and the equity bill in the lower house HR 4574. This has been languishing there for the last 15 years! The veterans are still unrecognized. Our veterans are victims of racism and discrimination. Now, they are vulnerable to identity theft and fraud because of such incompetence."
JFAV demands that justice be served. Investigations are not enough. The VA must punish those who are responsible for this mess

JFAV Demands Justice: Investigate and Punish All Responsible for the Veterans Scam
San Francisco, California – The Justice for Filipino American Veterans (JFAV) is seriously monitoring the developments on the recently exposed theft of 26.5 million American veterans’ records last May 3 but which was not immediately reported by the Veterans Administration (VA) will have a long-lasting impact on millions of veterans.
Arturo P. Garcia, People’s CORE advocacy desk and JFAV coordinator said: “It is bad enough that the benefits of American veterans are being drastically cut ($15 billion cut in the last 3 years), now they fall prey to criminal syndicates due to the incompetence of the VA authorities."
"The US Congress decision to investigate the scam or anomaly is a step in the right direction. The Senate approval of immigration bill that grants immigrant visas to remaining Filipino veterans’ families and relatives is just a small tactical victory in the midst of our immigrant rights campaign for full immigrant rights.
