FLASPOINTS radio today at 5pm - Judi Bari Day Special

Tune in to 94.1 KPFA-fm at 5pm today for our special program celebrating
Judi Bari Day. We commemorate Judi today as we have every year since
1990, by remembering that this is the day she and Darryl Cherney were
bombed in Oakland and framed by the FBI. She immediately turned around
and stood up to the powers, spoke truth to power and sued the bastards!

In 2002, 5 years after Judi’s tragic death from breast cancer, we WON
that Constitutional lawsuit against the FBI and Oakland police.

Since we are in fundraising mode at KPFA we will be offering 2 fabulous
documantaries as premiums / thank-you gifts to those who may wish to
support the station.

"The Forest for the Trees" is a film by Bernadine Mellis, a documentary
of Judi's life and her heroic struggle and victory against the FBI and OPD.
"The Great Warming" is a brand new documentary film from Canada about
global warming. Narrated by Keanu Reeves and Alanis Morissette, this
riveting film hasnt even hit the theaters yet! It's HOT!!
