Feel More in the Bayview - history repeats itself with crooked SFRA in the seat
7-4 the SF Board of Supervisor gave San Francisco Redevelopment Agency the green signal to work in the Project Area that is the Bayview Hunters Point - what happened in the Fillmore is now going to happen in the Bayview Hunters Point. The poor will suffer and the crooks will make hay while the sun shines.
Tom Ammiano, Chris Daly, Ross Mirkarim, and Geraldo Sandoval did right and voted NO against the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (SFRA) and its fake plan to use Tax Increment, Blight, and Eminent Domain to take over large areas in the Bayview Hunters Point for development.
The crooks have lined up with SFRA and soon the crooks will be wrecking the buildings and making hay while the sun shines under the baton of the SFRA.
Shame on Aaron Peskin, Bevan Dufty. Michela Alioto-Pier, Jake McGoldrick, Fiona Ma, Sean Elsbernd, and of course the inept, ignorant, and very arrogant Sophie Maxwell.
Thanks to some Black Thugs the SFRA was able to carry out its mission and hidden agenda.
Remember he laughs best who laughs last. It is not all over and we will be watching.
As soon as the SF Controller's audit comes out linked to the SFRA most everyone will get a good picture of this rogue agency - a quasi-State agency that has leached, adversely impacted and continues to make thousands suffer all over San Francisco.
Most of us remember the Fillmore but not the dumb jack asses that voted for SFRA and its plan in the Bayview Hunters Point.
I know the poor will suffer and most of them are Black.
They must remember their own kind did them in - leading the pack Angelo King, Ms. Vincent, Al Williams, Aurelius Walker, and other scumbags - they did what NO one else would have done. House Negroes sold out for bread crumps.
SFRA must remember that Hitler once did something and no one took him on. Marcia Rosen must remember that.
We had a genocide in Bosnia, Cambodia, Rwanda and Durfur. If some one stood up and nibbed it in the bud the mess would not have spread. With SFRA the House Negroes did us all in.
We have Latinos, Samoans, Asians that were NOT included in any pertinent decision making. A few corrupt Blacks from the BVHP Project Area Committee sold out the whole community.
This genocide will NOT go unreported and those that participated in this crime have BLOOD on their hands.
I want to thank those that fought for the poor and those that needed help most - people of color.
I want to thank the 4 Board of Supervisors for doing what is right. Ammiano, Chris, Ross and Geraldo.
We must now move on and monitor the crooks. We have built a force to reckon with and not all is a done deal - in fact the fight has just begun.
Mayor Gavin Newsom was behind this scheme.
Those BOS that sold out to SFRA better think twice. As to the Bayview Hunters Point there are other means much more powerful that can work and will be implemented by the people of San Francisco and the Bayview Hunters Point constituents.

So what is the alternative you are suggesting? There are more people who want to live in San Francisco than there are houses. We have to build housing. High density housing doesn't have to be awful. There are cities in Europe with many thousands of people in a small area and it is very livable AND includes people from all economic strata.
So tell me what the alternatives are and I'll fight with you for them. If there aren't any, then we have to try to get the best results from what IS going to be built.
Don't just bitch to me about how bad it is, tell me what I can do to help make it better!

I see from your comments you are from outer space. The San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (SFRA) is a quasi-State agency that used lies, blight, eminent domain and tax increment to steal property from those folks that own their property.
What is this talk about people needing homes - we already have many homes in San Francisco. We also have many apartments for rent too! Go to craigslist.com and check this for yourself.
I am talking about a process and I know from your comments you understand little if next to nothing about Land Use, Planning, Economics, Sociology, History, Transportation Issues, the Housing Element, Eminent Domain, Blight, and Tax Increment and so forth.
SFRA has been in the Bayview before by Evans Street where they had a Project Area. They got all the money they needed, got the Tax Increment and did not keep their word. In other words they fleeced the constituents of the area and did nothing for them. Took all the money and spent it elsewhere.
It is not as if other developers cannot develop and build homes in the Bayview. It is being done right now at Executive Park and elesewhere go visit the area.
What SFRA does it take property that does not belong to them and gives it to crooked developers. SFRA does not build affordable homes for First Time Buyers or folks that are poor. They do everything possible to push them out of the area.
What you can do - if you understand the situation at hand which I have addressed here in detail is study more about SFRA. We will fight them by collecting signatures and taking SFRA to court.
SFRA likes to intimidate poor innocent people like they did in the Fillmore.
But they will not PUSH us around in the Bayview. Sixty percent of the folks in the Bayview own good homes. But some folks think most people in the Bayview rent and live in Public Housing.
This is not true and because you think with this bias you responded the way you did. I am talking about DUE PROCESS. If we want homes and housing we can build it. We do not want SFRA and crooked developers to come into our neighborhood and build homes and force people out.
The Bayview is the last frontier - over 8000 small scale industries.
SFRA wants to get them out to build homes. I guess you agree with this nonsense? We also have one of kind commerical services - SFRA does not appreciate mix-use facilities and wants high density housing - when it is not needed in the Bayview.
400 feet buildings are going to be built at Treasure Island folks like you can go and stay there.
600 feet builgings with very high density are going to be built at the Transbay Project - if you want a unit - go and apply and live there.
Right now families are leaving San Francisco - we want family housing and SFRA will not build them. 3 and 4 bedroom homes. SFRA wants to build tiny winy units for folks like you. You put a Queen Size Bedroom and you have NO room to move around. That is what Marcia Rosen is all about the Director of SFRA.
The Bayview has many homes vacant that can be fixed if the City will loan First Time Buyers.
The Bayview also has over 450 toxic hot spots that the City has known about for over 40 years and is doing nothing about these Brown Fields. SFRA will cap the site and build homes.
The City can build homes else where and allow SFRA to be the lead agency - in the Avenues. The issue at hand is if SFRA goes to a White Neighborhood there will be a hue and cry. No one wants SFRA in their back yard.
We have not learned much from Mission Bay - thousands of units are empty there. Millions of square feet of commercial space is available at Mission Bay.
I hope you understand the issues at hand. I have just touched the tip of the ice berg. It sickens me that ignorant folks like you will make moronic statements and cannot fathom basic issues governing planning, land use and economics.
Your first home work is to be educated then you will not spew diatribe and write nonsense. After that may be you could comprehend how to address more complicated issues that adversely impact thousands of people.
