At 9:00 am we will gather at the Western end of Chrissy Field and vans will take people up to the Golden Gate Bridge for the walk

Join up with Marriage Equality USA in both California and New York as supporters simultaneously walk the Golden Gate Bridgeand the Brooklyn Bridge to raise visibility and funds for
grassroots efforts to secure the 1400 state and federal protections of civil marriage for same-sex couples.

We will be joined by lesbian soccer-mom Jennifer Schumaker who will be walking her last 5 miles of her 500 mile journey from San Diego to San Francisco in support of LGBT inclusion and Marriage Equality for same-sex couples

In San Francisco, Marriage Equality USA invites you to meet Jennifer, Assemblymember Mark Leno, and other marriage equality supporters at the western end of Chrissy Field at 9:00AM-
Look for the wedding cake. The walk on the bridge starts at 9:30am. (Vans will be provided for individuals who need a ride up to the bridge).

The event ends at noon, but will be followed by a cake reception.
