Cisco Conference in Monterey

Cisco, the software giant from Silicon valley held a conference here in Monterey, at the Monterey Conference Center this past Tuesday/Wednesday. The conference focussed on the role of women in the company, and their leadership roles. Apparently the future looks bright for women, as the outcome of the meeting was positive. Or so says a guest at the hotel I work at. On a sidenote, the attendees of the conference recieved the latest edition of Thomas Friedman's "The World is Flat", a book chronicling the effects of globalization and technology.
