Letter to Captasin Pardini, SF District 10 Bayview Precinct
Pardini shined by his abesence at last week Press Conference on 3rd Street:
"End the War at Home and Let's Call it TRUCE!"
"End the War at Home and Let's Call it TRUCE!"
Dear Captain Pardini,
Your presence at
"End the War at Home and Let's Call it TRUCE" Press Conference,
4921 3rd Street last Thurday at 11 am, had been confirmed by Reverend Ishmael Burch (Community Court, African American Community Policing Relations Board), and you did not show up or cancel.
The press conference was covered by KPFA, NBC 11, SF Bayview Newspaper and The SF Observer.
What happened?
We counted on your presence to join Community and Youth efforts to call on mobs truce. As it turned out, our prayers were answered on Friday evening when kids from different neighborhood took the initiative to meet each other towards calling it a truce. Hopefully this will have a rippling effect in all our Poor neighborhoods of Color. Kids want to be safe and the Truce is Youth led, backed up by concerned community residents and parents of murdered victims.
Please join us in our next press conferences in other districts to show your, (and your department), genuine intention to join the community to make our kids safe.
Sincerely,
mesha Monge-Irizarry
