Celebrate resistance to military recruitment
and the growing opposition to war from within
the military with Pablo Paredes and Teatro del FEO!
Event hosted by Courage to Resist and the Central
Committee for Conscientious Objectors.
*Pablo Paredes is a
US Navy war resister and member of Iraq Veterans
Against the War. He recently led the 241 mile "March for Peace" from
Tijuana, Mexico that reached San Francisco on March 27, 2006.
* Teatro del FEO will be performing
"Operation: 'In La Kech'" (Mayan for 'you are my other self')
* More performers to TBA!

"One Weekend A Month"
Written and directed by Eric Escobar
Busy single mom Meg McDermott is having a routine
crazy Monday morning when her phone rings.
The caller delivers some news that turns her life,
and lives of her children, upside down.
Discussion with local filmaker Eric Escobar after
showing.
"The Fifth Commandment"

2 US Marines talk about The War on Terror and the
lastings
effects of war on their lives.
Excerpt from the film:
USMC Matt: " I think about history and then about
the atrocities that we
are committing. I think about Germany and used to
wonder, where were those
people, how did they just let it happen? And here I
am. I am one of those
people. I let it happen."
