Good Vibrations, legendary destination for sex positive products, service and education, honors the luminaries in sex-positivity by hosting the “First Annual Women on Top: Movers and Shakers of the Industry” panel scheduled on May 13, 2006 from 2:00-4:30 pm at Good Vibrations 1620 Polk Street (at Sacramento) in San Francisco. Free to the public, Good Vibrations invites you to lift a glass of wine and pass the hors d’ oeuvres for a meet and greet with famed educators and philosophers with a panel moderated by local Bay Area freelance journalist and health educator, Liz Highleyman.

For the first time, Good Vibrations brings together the women responsible for challenging often unconscious and outdated assumptions about sexuality and pleasure for both men and women. The pioneering works of Betty Dodson, PhD, Annie Sprinkle, PhD, Carol Queen, PhD and the rest of the panel of extraordinary women have helped everyone to more readily enjoy non-judgmental shame-free sexual expression, to better understand our bodies, and to explore new erotic options. The first Annual Women on Top panel is an opportunity to honor and meet the leaders, old and new, whose lifework consists of evolving sexual pleasure into a healthy, strong and empowered action for all.
