Is Bush Impeachable?
Bush's Final Jeopardy
A conversation with
Elizabeth de la Vega
Is Bush impeachable? Warrantless spying, lying to justify a war, leaking secret documents for political benefit, criminal conspiracy. The case is clear. Will Congress do its duty?
Elizabeth de la Vega is a former federal prosecutor with more than twenty years of experience. During her tenure, she was a member of the Organized Crime Strike Force and Chief of the San Jose Branch of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California. Her pieces have appeared in The Nation magazine, the L.A. Times, Salon, and Mother Jones.
The program will be broadcast and webcast live on Mid-Peninsula Community Media Cable Channel 27 and rebroadcast throughout May as part of the ongoing "Other Voices" television series produced by Peninsula Peace and Justice Center.
Free and open to the public; sponsored by Peninsula Peace and Justice Center.
