~ Celebrate ASA's 4th year Defending & Advancing Safe Access ~ Saturday,
April 22nd at 9pm ~

Join us for live entertainment and refreshments, good times and tons of
fun on Saturday, April 22nd at 9pm at the California Patients Group
located at 6208 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood. There is a small $5
cover fee; of course all proceeds benefit ASA. The last four years have
been some of the most exciting times for patients and the medical
marijuana movement. Come celebrate our success and join in the fun!

We will discuss court support,date for next media training class, and
donations as well. There are some changes occurring with MCPC. First, we
will be having a final vote to confirm Thunder Rector as Secretary, and
Donuel Bruno as Vice-President.

The El Dorado chapter of the American Alliance for Medical Cannabis
meets on the 4th Saturday of each month at the Garden Valley Grange,
4940 Marshall Road, Garden Valley, California. Meetings are
traditionally held between 2:15 and 4:20 p.m.

*4) Monday, April 24th, Riverbank:*** City Council to Vote on Extending
Moratorium**

The Riverbank City Council has enacted a moratorium and will be voting
to extend it.

*6) Thursday, April 27th, Sacramento: Sac ASA Meeting*

Sacramento ASA has begun meeting again and they're busy strategizing on
ways to effect local, state and national policies.

The Sacramento medical marijuana community was once extremely active
with Americans for Safe Access. Sac ASA met regularly, organized a huge
rally for Bryan Epis at the Capitol, and did all they could to protect
patients' rights.

Patients and advocates in the Sacramento area are coming together again
to reinvigorate ASA. Please join them at their bi-weekly meetings:

Patients and non-patients are welcome. This is a great opportunity to
get involved with ASA and to work on both local and national campaigns.
