Who: Kavita N. Ramdas, President and CEO, Global Fund for Women
Event: For the past nine years, Kavita N. Ramdas has led the Global Fund for Women, the world's largest grant making foundation exclusively devoted to advancing women's rights. During her tenure, the Global Fund has increased grant making six-fold, having grown the amount given annually from $1.5 million to $7.4 million. Ms. Ramdas will share inspiring examples of how female-led organizations in 162 countries are using such funds to address HIV/AIDS, violence, and poverty in order to transform their communities.
