Virtuoso guitarist Joaquin Lievano and genius bassist Andy West, both Grammy nominees, team up in the band Zazen to bring rocking, symphonic, mind-blowing soundscapes to the Bay Area. The high energy, lyrical melodies transport you to electric, beautiful, ecstatic states of mind. The intensity of their playing builds to a crescendo of explosive color and movement, journeying through textured atmospheres of bright dimensionality. Tickets are $5 for studens, $15 for general public.
Concert begins at 8:30 pm in Wheeler Auditorium on Friday, April 28th.
