Fishermen, Tribes, Conservationists and Community members will rally om Aprol 24 at Fisherman’s Warf - Pier 47, San Francisco, Ca. to fix the problems plaguing the Klamath’s salmon run.
Come and join Congressman Mike Thompson in the struggle to Bring the Salmon Home!!!

Fishermen, Tribes, Conservationists and Community members will rally to fix the problems plaguing the Klamath’s salmon run.

Four Dams on the Klamath, poor water quality, and Disaster Relief Legislation for Fishing Communities will be the focus of the event.

Currenly almost the entire fishing catch of Northern california and Oregon is virtually shut down due to the record low Salmon runs in the Klamath River. This is putting thousands of people out of work and is hurting the three largest tribes in California, whom all depend on the Klamath Salmon run.

Klamath River Dams are hurting Salmon populations and are up for renewal. Klamath Tribes, environmentalist and fishermen are asking for them to be removed to open hundreds of miles of fish habitat. Pacific Power, whom is owned by Scottish Power, and Scottish Power is being protested regularly to encourage dam removal.
