MORE ABOUT BACFMM

Goals of the Bay Area Coalition to Fight the Minutemen:

- To use a diversity of tactics to directly confront and shut down the
Minutemen operations on the imperialist-created California/Mexico border.

- To coordinate actions in the Bay Area in solidarity with the national and
international resistance against the Minutemen.

- To be prepared to act against any local manifestation of racism,
including anti-immigrant and anti-indigenous organizing.

- To work creatively through art, music and educational events to build
awareness about the racist actions of the Minutemen and the broader attack
on indigenous and immigrant persons and their rights.

- To oppose all borders and their militarization, the Border Patrol, US
immigration policy and any other attempts to control the movement of human
beings in the interests of capitalism, white supremacy, and a class-based
society.

- To organize in a manner that respects and collaborates with grassroots
indigenous and immigrant rights groups and those most directly affected by
the assault on indigenous and immigrant persons' rights.
