Black Exodus/Black Eviction

The infamous redevelopment process of the 1960s did much to diminish a vibrant African-American community in the old Fillmore. The black population of San Francisco has been falling steadily since 1970. Is today's Bayview- Hunters' Point neighborhood facing another round of racist relocation? Community activists and historians will discuss the past to inform the present and change the future! Speakers: Kevin Epps (featuring excerpts from Straight Outta Hunters' Point), Alicia Schwartz (POWER) and Willie Ratcliff (publisher, San Francisco Bay View newspaper)

ALL EVENTS ARE FREE TO THE PUBLIC
(a $3-5 sliding scale donation is requested to help defray costs,
but no one will be turned away)

passin through is just passing some foul gas. They are either too naive or too childish to remember how big a story redevelopment was (and continues to be) in San Francisco.

Anway, I suspect passin through is not even for real. They may just be naive or dull-witted (so as not to be taken seriously anyway) or this may be some ineftective attempt to stir up some fresh divisivesness. Either way, I wouldn't feel bad if the editors of this site just nuked it altogether and then, nuked this.

We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
