Who: We are pleased to welcome President Stjepan Mesić to San Francisco. He will discuss the critical role that Croatia and other small countries serve in a dynamic and interdependent world. President Mesić is currently serving in his second 5-year term in office, having been reelected in January 2005. Upon his first election in 2000, President Mesić left his political party so as to better represent the citizens of Croatia, rather than a specific group.
