The Heads Up Collective Presents: Televising the Revolution a Radical Film Series at El Rio 3158 Mission St. @ Cesar Chavez, San Francisco http://www.elriosf.com Tuesday, March 28th at 8pm A Benefit for the Domestic Workers Coalition (POWER-People Organized to Win Employment Rights, Mujeres Unidas y Activas, and the Women's Collective of the Day Labor Program) Featuring: - Excerpts from the film "Maid in America - Domestic Workers United (NYC) film "Work and Respect" - Live theater! (excerpt from POWER/ Unconditional Theater's Documentary Theater Project) "El Otro Lado/ The Other Side; Arrival and Survival in San Francisco" -Speakers from the Coalition This event is part of an ongoing monthly series showcasing radical films and supporting local organizing. Films are shown on the patio at El Rio every 4th Tuesday. The event is free but donations are accepted. Space is wheelchair accessible, but bathrooms are not 21 and over RAIN or SHINE And . . . .
