Portola District - San Bruno Avenue in San Francisco
The Portola District has contributed a lot to the making and history of San Francisco. Many great activists have lived in and around San Bruno Avenue and in the Portola District from the early 1900 to today. The City of San Francisco has only now officially declared the Portola District - official and incorporated Portola District into the official San Francisco map. Of course every one knows that the Portola District has San Bruno Avenue where all the activity takes place and where most every one goes to meet, buy, shop, and conduct a lot of activities.
San Bruno Avenue in San Francisco is an important part of the Portola District. The City and County of San Francisco has now officially recognized the Portola District as part of it official map.
There are many that have fond memories of San Bruno Avenue especially those that no longer live in San Francisco and one lived in and around San Bruno Avenue.
