San Franciscans unite to stop Redevelopment’s BVHP land grab

by Willie Ratcliff, SF Bay View (reposted)
On Tuesday, the Coalition for San Francisco Neighborhoods, representing 38 neighborhood associations from across San Francisco, voted unanimously in favor of a resolution to stop the Redevelopment land grab in Bayview Hunters Point. The resolution, drafted by the Bay View and introduced to the Coalition by Francisco Da Costa and Espanola Jackson of Bayview Hunters Point, was endorsed by every member – no one voted against it; no one abstained. All of them are familiar with the Redevelopment Agency’s terrible track record.
