3/20-25: Iraqi Women Visit Sacramento & Bay Area To Speak Out Against The War!
In conjunction with our Women Say No To War campaign, CODEPINK brought five women
from Iraq to the US for International Women's Day. These courageous women are now on
a tour across the country, and one of them will be coming to YOUR area this week to
share her personal story and speak out against the occupation of Iraq.

Women from Iraq come to speak out against the war!
In conjunction with our Women Say No To War campaign, CODEPINK brought five women
from Iraq to the US for International Women's Day. These courageous women are now on
a tour across the country, and one of them will be coming to YOUR area this week to
share her personal story and speak out against the occupation of Iraq.
Faiza Al-Araji - Engineer, married, currently living in Amman, Jordan. She is a Shia
Muslim engineer who fled Iraq with her Sunni husband and children after her son, a
student at Baghdad University, was imprisoned without charges by Iraqi officials
from the Ministry of the Interior. The family had to pay ransom to secure his
release, and then fled to Jordan. Faiza and her sons write a blog called A Family in
Baghdad afamilyinbaghdad.blogspot.com. Below are event details:
