Workshop and panel discussion led by international mediator Marshall Rosenberg, recent recipient of a Global Peace Award. From the U.S. civil rights movement in the '60s, to Rwanda, Colombia, Ireland, and recently the Middle East, Dr. Rosenberg has spoken his message of hope through a language of compassion. Thousands of people around the globe are finding new avenues to peace within their families and communities, in schools, prisons and urban gangs, and between warring factions in some of the most violent places on earth. This is one of a series of workshops this week sponsored by Bay Area Nonviolent Communication. For more information: www.baynvc.org/marshall_rosenberg_visit_spring_2006.php
