PSA: March 25 Iraq War Speakers Event

Speakers will include, Faiza al-Araji, an Iraqi citizen currently touring the US; former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter; former CIA analyst, Ray McGovern; Medea Benjamin, a co-founder of human roights group, Global Exchange; Fernando Suarez del Solar, who's embarked on a 241 mile peace march from Tijuana, Mexico, to the Mission district of San Francisco to mark the third anniversary of his son's death; and Pablo Paredes, a navy war resister who refused to board an Iraq bound ship who was court martialed, sentenced, and now speaks out for Peace.

The event takes place, Saturday, March 25, at 2:30 PM at the Veteran;s Memorial Building located at 846 Front St. in downtown Santa Cruz. Suggested donation of $10-20, but noone turned away for lack of funds. Call Media Watch at 423-6355 for more information.
