It's time! The 14th Annual GRAND SLAM: THE SCI-FI SUMMIT, presented by G4, is upon us and we can't wait! It has to be the greatest line-up of sensational genre superstars ever! There's fun events, contests, auctions, previews, freebies, and much more!

Two big buildings filled with things to do and the price for an entire day is insane: $25 daily or $59 for all three days, general admission! Here is your opportunity to have your photo taken with a famous celebrity of your choice. Photos are 8 by 10 full color glossies shot by professional photographer CHRISTOPHER SCHMELKE in a relaxed, comfortable and fun way! He’s relatively new to our conventions and his photos have been widely hailed by our attendees! Photos taken Friday will be available for pick-up at the photo ops area on Saturday. If you are not coming back they will be mailed to you, pick up info at the photo op booth for having your photos sent to you via mail.

Please arrive 5 minutes before the photo ops begin, and try not to wear white!

One of America’s original Mercury Seven astronauts, he is the only one who flew in all three of the nation’s pioneering space programs, Mercury, Gemini and Apollo. He was inducted into the Astronaut Hall of Fame in 1990.

Captain Bean was the fourth person to walk on the moon. In 1973 he was Commander of Skylab Mission II (SL-3) where he lived 59 days in space. Under his leadership his crew accomplished 150% of their pre-mission goals – a record unsurpassed before or since.
