On Wednesday, March 8, from 11:30 to 1:00 pm, Code Pink's new Sacramento chapter will hold a Peace in Iraq Rally on the west steps of the State Capitol.
March 8th is International Women's Day. Peace groups around the country will hold marches, rallies, and other events.
This rally will be an easy way for folks to demonstrate for peace in Iraq during their lunch hour in downtown Sacramento, and benefit from high visibility when foot and vehicle traffic is particularly heavy.
