Treasury Dept. Moves to Avoid Debt Limit. Treasury Secretary John Snow notified Congress on Monday that the administration has now taken "all prudent and legal actions," including tapping certain government retirement funds, to keep from hitting the $8.2 trillion national debt limit.

Removal & Relocation Agency) will meet to “amend” classification of most of Bayview-Hunters Point, making it subject to seizure by “eminent domain.” Now is the time for our elected representatives and unelected leaders to stand up, speak up, protest and stop this displacement. Help us preserve and defend our homes and neighborhoods.

How much more of our City will we allow to be sold by co-opted politicians to the speculators and developers who pull their strings and pay their bills. This proposed occupation, takeover and eviction, which threatens the predominantly black residents, must be prevented.

: "In Plane Site" by Dave Vonkleist of the Power Hour takes a close
look at the footage of the planes crashing in to the towers. It appears
that there is a mistle tied to the bottom of the plane, the planes are
described by witnesses as not passenger planes. Dave takes a very close
look at the Pentagon pictures pointing out many inconsistencies with
the official story. The damage to the Pentagon was obviously not done
by a plane. Interviews with firefighters and many other facts confirm
controlled demolition of the Twin Towers.

March 15th:
"Truth and Politics" and "Omissions and Distortions in the 911
Commission Report" are videotaped presentations by David Ray Griffin, a
professor of Philosophy and Theology, the author of "The New Pearl
Harbor" and "The 911 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions."
David Ray Griffin provides detailed analysis of the Kean Commission
Report and points out how drastically the report deviates from the
facts. It is a deliberate misrepresentation of facts, Professor Griffin
makes it very clear.

March 29th:
"Mike Ruppert at the Commomwealth Club" is a videotaped presentation by
Mike Ruppert, who used to be a narcotics investigator at the LA Police
Department until he realized that the CIA was dealing drugs and arms.
He was offered a nice salary to keep his mouth shut, but they obviously
underestimated Mike who instead became a whistle blower. They tried to
threaten him, they even shot him, but he survived and didn't back down.
Today Mike is justly considered the pioneer of the 911 truth movement.
In this presentation Mike names Dick Cheney as the prime suspect in
orchestrating the 911 attacks. He talks about the war game exercises
that involved fake plane highjackings that Cheney conducted on Sept 11.
He also gives detailed biographies of the Kean commission members. Huge
conflicts of interest and corruption there. Mike is the author of
"Crossing the Rubicon", the second best selling book after "The Kean
Commission Report on 911".

This 14th edition of the Digital Be-In combines its lineage of invention and cultural evolution marking the dawn of the digital age with the emerging green economy and sustainable culture movement. Producer Michael Gosney (whose Verbum magazine began the Digital Be-In during the late 1980s) developed the Paradox conferences on sustainable communities at Arcosanti, Arizona in 1997, 1999 and 2001  http://www.greencenturyinstitute.org/paradox.htm  and formed the Green Century Institute in San Francisco in 2002. Planetwork, founded in San Francisco by Jim Fournier and Elizabeth Thompson in 1998, fosters the creative application of digital tools for positive global change through a series of conferences and monthly forums in major cities. The Green Century Institute and Planetwork are working with several San Francisco Bay Area groups that were involved in the seminal World Environment Day week in San Francisco June 5–11, 2005  http://www.wed2005.org  in the development of this combination daytime symposium, evening rally/celebration and late night dance party. As in the past, the Digital Be-In will reach beyond the physical event with a live netcast, information-intense website and new kinds of exposure and interaction via social networks and blogs.
