International Women's Day 2006

This celebration features revolutionary feminist
poetry from Nellie Wong, veteran labor and anti-war poet; Merle Woo, retired socialist feminist educator; and spoken word by Anna Wilson, abortion advocate and volunteer coordinator

for Women's Choice Clinic; an open mic and a dance with DJ Durt spinning vinyl. Prepare to be fired up; don’t miss out on this event!

The action begins at 7:00pm on Saturday, March 11 at New Valencia Hall, 1908 Mission Street in San
Francisco (between 16th and 15th streets). Door
donation is $3.00 - $5.00 sliding scale. Delicious
international dishes, with vegetarian options, will be
served for an $8.50 donation at 6:00pm. All welcome.
