No to Theocracy - Oppose the anti-woman laws of Iran AND Bush’s anti-woman McCrusade!
Support the Right to Abortion and Birth Control!
No to US Imperialism/ No US Attacks on Iran!
Unleash the Fury of Women as a Mighty Force for Revolution!
It has been more than 25 years of the ruling of one of the most anti-woman governments in the world. A government which its fundamental existence has been based upon its laws of oppression and domination of women.
It has been more than 25 years of struggle and resistance for women against poverty and injustice in all political, cultural and economical aspects of society.
Women have endured being lashed, stoned, jailed, tortured and executed, but they did not surrender to the medieval laws of Islamic Republic.
March 8th of this year is a time to once again show our solidarity with the women’s struggle in Iran. We should turn this day into a day of exciting and magnificent exhibition of solidarity against the anti- woman Islamic Republic system.
We, the women of "Campaign for Abolition of all Misogynist Gender Based legislation & Islamic Punitive Laws in Iran", in observation of International Women’s Day, are organizing a great walk from Germany to Holland, concluding at the International Court of The Hague.
In this rally:
There is a place for any woman, who has been shaken by the brutality of stoning of her sisters in Iran.
There is a place for any woman, who has felt the bitterness of being lashed against the right of her choice of clothes.
There is a place for any woman, who won’t surrender to inferiority and inequality.
There is a place for any woman, who fights for the right of her body.
There is a place for any woman, who is struggling for her own destiny.
There is a place for any woman who wants the right to divorce, the right to travel, the right of choice, the right of custody and all other basic human rights.
There is a place for any woman, who is not willing to submit her destiny to the medieval laws of the Islamic Republic.
There is a place for any woman who wants to abolish the role of religion in all facets of society, in particular in the lives of women.
In this rally, there is a place for all freedom loving women and men, all political and progressive and revolutionary forces, who want equality amongst men and women in all aspects of life, and oppose any type of gender discrimination.
Freedom loving men and women!
Your active participation in this walk will resonance the voice of the just struggle of Iranian women so it can be heard all over the world, and can mobilize the international women’s movement against world Imperialism which is the protector of male chauvinism in every corner of this world.
Let, by joining in solidarity with struggle of Iranian people, this medieval regime forever be buried in its grave.
Let the women’s needs and demands become the shining jewel of these struggles, since the degree of progress and freedom in any society is measured by the progress and liberty of women in that society.
