STILL PRESENT PASTS is an exhibition of art, video, photographs, interactive installations and oral histories inspired by the first public testimonies about the Korean War from Korean American survivors and their families
The exhibit runs from March 9 through April 16 at Pro Arts Gallery, 550 2nd Street, Oakland. Please join us for the following public events: Opening Night Reception Thursday, March 9, 2006 6:00 – 8:00 PM With Artists and Oral History Personalities And special performance by Korean Youth Cultural Center Followed by snacks, beverages and exhibit viewing Artists’ Talk in the Gallery Saturday, March 11, 2006 1:00 – 3:00 PM With Ji-young Yoo, Yul-san Liem, and Deann Borshay Followed by tea and cookies All Events are free to the public.
