NSA Spy Scandal Enough to Bring Down the House

This is not new news, but it's been buried by the flood of scandals. There are so many scandals, the left is continually diverted by the next big scandal. Enough of that BUllSHit. This is undeniable evidence, using Bush's own words to prove that he is lying.

In 2004, Bush says "wiretaps require a court order" and "constitutional guarantees are in place". Then in Dec of 2005, suddenly, FISA is for long term monitoring, because they need to move quickly.
In 2004 on the campaign trail, Bush promised his supporters he wasn't spying without warrants. This turned out to be a flat out lie. When did lying on the campaign trail become acceptable? Once it's been proven that a candidate Lied to get elected, shouldn't that alone be enough to toss him out of office?
But even more important than lying to his supporters, is his demonstration of the facts, that he knows that spying without a warrant is unconstitutional.
Because that is what he lied about in Dec 2005, when he said, "Do I have the authority to do this, and the answer is absolutely." He lied in 2004, then lied again here to cover his ass. The President of the United States has been caught with his pants down, exposed before the world, and our Congress has done nothing to hold him accountable.
This is all information that came out when the spy scandal first broke, in Dec 2005, and it is enough to warrant impeachment. Former NSA Lawyer Jonathan Turley:
Now I want to be absolutely clear, what the President ordered in this case was a crime. Now we can debate whether he had a good or bad motivation, but it was a crime.
To reiterate for the skeptical: Bush's own words prove that he is lying. In 2004 he knew that wiretaps required a court order, then in 2005 he verifies that authorized wiretaps without such an order. The in a brazen lie, he declared the Constitution gave him such authority. It's a clear lie, yet the US media and Congress continue to play along.
Constitutional Scholar Geoffrey Stone:
“Some legal questions are hard. This one is not. Mr. Bush’s authorizing of the NSA to spy on Americans is blatantly unlawful and unconstitutional.”
An honest CongressCritter would take this to the local TV station and demand the sitcoms be turned off. Imagine a town hall meeting using the local television and/or radio station to inform the public of this crime against the Constitution. Yet every single member of Congress has been silent, letting Bush off the hook yet again. In fact, 404 of them just voted for war with Iran.
Everytime you hear Congress is going to "investigate" or introduce new legislation, it is a fradulent attempt to pretend that they're on the case. Wake Up America- Congress is just as guilty as Bush!
