Who: Elizabeth Losos, President of the Organization for Tropical Studies (OTS)
In conversation with Terry Vogt, Program Director, Conservation Finance, Gordon and Getty Moore Foundation

Event:
Dr. Elizabeth Losos directs the Organization for Tropical Studies (OTS), a non-profit consortium of 63 universities and research institutions from the United States, Latin America, and Australia. OTS owns and operates 3 biological stations in Costa Rica and conducts environmental education programs, including graduate and undergraduate education. Research at the OTS stations has added significantly to what is known about tropical biology and forest ecosystems—more than 300 scientists from 25 countries work at OTS sites each year. Dr. Losos will discuss what lessons rainforest research in Costa Rica has to teach us about the future of the global climate.
