More that 2000 people converged at Parc 55 hotel in the City to kick off a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about the status of hotel workers. 8000 San Francisco hotel workers have been without a contract since 2004 and faced a locked out as well. Among the speakers were Senator John Edwards, Mayor Gavin Newsom, and the United Farmworkers President Arturo Rodriguez.
