Hey all. So we've been talkin' this up for a month or two now, and its time for all ya who are on the fence to sign up.
Class Matters is an experiential look at how "middle class" activists and organizers like us can examine and work within our own class backgrounds and branch out to be more inclusive advocates for social change.
George Lakey, the facilitator of the weekend workshop, has worked with radical change organizations across the world, from gay and lesbian workers collectives in the former USSR, to guerilla freedom fighters in Burma, and everyone in between.
"Class Matters" is a two day (fri night & all day Saturday) workshop, incorporating over 14 hours of training into one fast-paced weekend.
If you're interested in attending, please contact Patrick Band at pband@f2f.org, or call (707) 319-1538. Scholarships are available.
