Currently, there is a caravan travelling across the USA to demand justice and dignity for all migrants living in the country. The caravan began on February 2nd in San Diego, just near the US/Mexican border, and is due to arrive at the foot of the capitol building in Washington DC on February 18th.

The caravan comes largely as a response to the proposed Bill H4437, which would further militarize the US borders, and make it illegal for employers to hire undocumted workers. Morones aruges that laws like this are deeply racist and unjust.

Also being brought to the forefront is the fact that since the implimentation of Operation Gatekeeper, there have been over 4000 migrant deaths at the border. While right-wing vigilante groups such as the Minutemen lurk, and people risk their lives to migrate, there is no time like the present to stand up against borders.
